Bark and Ride dog walking, covers County Louth and County Meath, Ireland. I provide a safe, reliable, highly professional service.
I aim to ensure that the dogs I walk feel safe, learn to socialize, and most importantly, have lots of fun and exercise.
Bark and Ride have a number of preferred safe dog walking locations which are local to Drogheda, Dundalk, Ardee, Navan and Kells, plus surrounding areas in County Louth and Meath. I always prefer walks away from traffic as exercise areas are chosen on safety first basis.
During each walk I provide:

Interaction with the dogs (games, fuss, treats, and silliness plus elements of training)

Exciting and safe surroundings

Doggy friends for plenty of play and socialization

Fresh water and a towel down after every walk

Regular communication with you - sharing pictures, the time your dog’s walk took place, the location of the walk, and anything else you might like to know about your dog’s day. Learn more about the Tracking App here.
If you would prefer your dog to be walked on its own, I can provide solo walks.

A dog walk lasts for approximately 1 hour. Short walks can be requested.
All dogs will remain on their lead until I am confident that your dog has mastered recall.
Dogs will never be let off of the lead without your agreement and signed consent.
Before any booking will be accepted, you will receive a free consultation. Please be prepared for this consultation to last for approximately 1 hour and may include a short walk with you and your dog(s). Pre-booking consultations are free of charge, are a chance for you and your dog to get to know me and for me to understand your needs.
You are, of course, under no obligation to proceed with the booking.

Walking Female Dogs in Heat.
At Bark and Ride, my dog walking business, I prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of every furry companion entrusted to me.

This decision is made in the best interest of your beloved pets, as walking a female dog in heat can potentially pose risks to her health and wellbeing.
I believe in providing a stress-free and comfortable environment for all dogs under my care, and avoiding walks during this time helps to prevent any unnecessary discomfort or potential complications.
Rest assured that I will always prioritize the wellbeing and safety of your dog and provide alternative options, for example home visits with play in your garden, to ensure she remains happy and safe while in my care.
