Puppy socialisation is one of those topics everyone talks about… but very few people are actually shown how to do it properly. I often meet owners who are doing their absolute best, yet their puppy is already overwhelmed, overexcited, or struggling to settle in new environments. The issue isn’t effort.

Most behaviour has a reason behind it. Dogs do not bark, pull, growl, chew, or jump up “for no reason". Behaviour is communication.

Bringing a new dog home is exciting. It’s also overwhelming. There’s advice everywhere – training schedules, feeding routines, socialisation checklists, enrichment plans. It can feel like you need to do everything immediately.
